From my perspective as a smart manufacturing consultant observing lines worldwide, few projects capture the essence of disciplined execution like the one involving an Italian medical beauty device maker expanding to Mexico. They invested in I.C.T’s SMT and DIP lines, driven by the need for exceptional paste printing accuracy on their PCBA boards—tolerances that safeguard device efficacy and patient safety.

The FAT unfolded at our plant: complete line assembly, followed by intensive production simulation. The goal—±15–25 μm alignment repeatability, tight volume control, Cpk ≥1.67—aligned with medical standards like IPC-A-610 Class 3. Early boards exhibited typical fine-pitch challenges; our team methodically refined settings, leveraging closed-loop systems and auto-calibration.

After exhaustive runs totaling around 20,000 boards and countless hours of refinement, the line delivered uniform results. The customer departed confident, their production pathway cleared.

This story highlights I.C.T’s commitment to quality equipment and hands-on support. For consultants advising on medical transitions, it’s a practical reminder of what steady precision achieves.
